Restoration Hardware Lighting

I received the new Restoration Hardware Fall 2011 source book few days ago and I have to say I am really impressed with their new lighting collection.  Below are some of my favorites.

How fabulous are these Edison-style filament bulbs Pendants?  I would hang a bunch of them over a dining table and/or a kitchen counter.  And I just have to say I love, LOVE, a vintage looking black metal chandelier.

There are quite a few great lighting options for night stands and desks.

This 1940s Architect”s Boom Sconce has to be my favorite, I am think this could be a possible lighting candidate for my living room.

Black and White Bathrooms

Sure, blue green and white hues are perfect for bathrooms.  But wouldn’t you rather have a bathroom with drama and makes a bold statement?  Here are some black and white bathroom ideas. They are very easy to achieve but allows for maximum impact.  I think it will be especially great for a powder room.  Go ahead and surprise your guests a little (or a lot).

Design Crush – Mirror with an edge

Not all bathrooms are big enough to have endless counter space.  I came across this image of a bathroom that uses a mirror with a shelf-like edge to store bath products.  It is such a clever way to create shelving space in a smaller bathroom.

When furniture disappeared

I have been eying the Peekaboo coffee table and console from CB2 for a while now; it is perfect with any room style.  It is especially great for smaller spaces or a space with lots of patterns and colors.

Mad about AJ Floor Lamp

It would be nice if I have $900 to spare, I would get the AJ Floor Lamp designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen Lighting Inc.  It has a quiet simplicity, and it also comes in a variety of colors.

Animal Prints

I am head over heels in love with these animal prints from The Animal Print Shop by Sharon Montrose.  They have this pure innocent quality, and besides they are just too cute to resist.

Perfect for kid's playroom and nursery

Beautiful in the grown-up rooms too

Painted Staircases

Maybe it is because of my background in painting but I have always loved to play with colors and bring that unexpected element into the space I design.  I think it is really fun to have a painted staircase; it breathes life and humor into a normally typical staircase.

Favorite Nursery Mobiles

I was in a quest searching for a fun & modern mobile for my little boy’s nursery, I came across these fabulous mobiles.  These can be used in nursery, kid’s playroom, and some of them can even be used in grown-up rooms.
